“Local Trucks just delivered the contents of our son's LA-area apartment to our house in the SF Bay Area, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations! We priced out rental trucks from U-Haul, Budget, and others, and given the high cost, we sought out quotes from a bunch of moving companies, both directly and through referral sites. Local Trucks was the only service that thought outside the box and developed a cost-effective plan that was just a few hundred dollars more than my cost for a DIY move. Meanwhile, the nearest bid among the others was nearly a thousand dollars more! Yes, really! The team showed up right on time and got everything moved out of the apartment and into the truck quickly, carefully, and courteously. Next thing you know, they were off to NorCal. Most small move services I talked to not only charged more, but would warehouse your stuff for a few days to a couple of weeks before moving it up north. It gave us great piece of mind knowing that the entirety of our son's belongings would be coming directly and without delay. Once at our house, Local Trucks had another mover (who was also super nice) meet their driver to assist in the unloading. They were done really quickly, and everything arrived just as it had left LA. We paid our invoice online and that was that. If you are local to the LA area, I'd recommend Local Trucks without hesitation for all of your moving needs. “I hired Rigo for a very small moving job, I needed to get a couch from the garage into my 2nd floor apartment and it needed to be hoisted over a rail as it did not fit up the stairs - I tried to carry it up previously and failed. A lot of movers won’t take smaller jobs like that, or the minimums are cost prohibitive. I was really worried we wouldn’t be able to get it in my apartment door, Rigo went out of his way to come look at it and give me a quote before deciding if I wanted to hire him. He was extremely nice and professional, easy to communicate with, took measurements, and was good about managing expectations as there was a slight chance it wouldn’t fit. It ended up working out great, I didn’t have to lift a finger and the job was done in about 30 minutes. Will 100% use these guys in the future if needed.”
