“I hired Rigo for a very small moving job, I needed to get a couch from the garage into my 2nd floor apartment and it needed to be hoisted over a rail as it did not fit up the stairs - I tried to carry it up previously and failed. A lot of movers won’t take smaller jobs like that, or the minimums are cost prohibitive. I was really worried we wouldn’t be able to get it in my apartment door, Rigo went out of his way to come look at it and give me a quote before deciding if I wanted to hire him. He was extremely nice and professional, easy to communicate with, took measurements, and was good about managing expectations as there was a slight chance it wouldn’t fit. “I hired Local Trucks in July of 2023 to relocate to a new city that was 15 miles aways. They did such a great job, I re-hired them a second time in July of 2025. On both occasions, I spoke with the owner, Rigo. H is very professional, responsive and and provided me with an extremely competitive quote for both of my moves. His prices are more than fair. The moving crews showed up on time at 7am. They were fast paced and hard working. They worked non-stop and did not "slow move" me to increase my hourly cost. Both crews treated my personal belongings with extreme caution and care. This was a an added benefit that I wasn't expecting because it made the organization and unpacking extremely easy for me.
